BlindShell Classic LITE has all the basic functions as any usual phone, however, it is fully vocalised and the user interface is custom tailored for the blind and visually impaired.
How does the BlindShell Classic LITE compare to the BlindShell Classic 2 and Classic 3?
BlindShell Classic LITE is our simplest model, offering the basic phone functions such as sending SMS and calling. It cannot be connected to the internet and cannot be given any voice commands.
The BlindShell Classic 2 and BlindShell Classic 3 include more advanced features, including voice control and internet connectivity.
Who is BlindShell Classic LITE for?
This model is made for all the blind and visually impaired who use the basic functions and do not need internet connection. It is suitable for older or less demanding users.
Can I give BlindShell Classic Lite voice commands?
No. BlindShell Classic Lite speaks the screen out loud to guide you, but you control the phone with the tactile keypad. A voice assistant is not included in this model.
Does the BlindShell Classic LITE have a camera?
A camera is not available on the BlindShell Classic LITE.
What is the LITE battery life?
All the functions work offline which is saving the battery and its life is up to 4 days on one charge.
